Guide / After an interview
Two minutes while you still remember, and a better plan next time
After each round, tell Beacon what they asked and what was hard. It reads your note, you correct what it took, and your next plan carries it. Only you see it.
For two weeks after a round, its job page asks How did it go? Write it down opens the debrief. With Coach you can Say it out loud instead. Not now puts the question away.
The round also keeps a Debrief button until you write one. A few hours after the interview, Beacon emails you a reminder, which you can switch off in Settings, under Notifications.
Write what they asked and what was hard, in your own words, then Continue. With Coach, Record instead takes up to two minutes of speech: Beacon transcribes it and then deletes the recording.
Beacon reads your note and sorts it into rows: They asked, Hard moment, Went well and Open follow-up. Correct anything that is wrong, remove what does not belong, and use Add something it missed for the rest. Then Save the debrief.
A saved debrief stays on the round, marked Debrief saved. You can open it to edit it, or delete it. Deleting it also removes the plan items and lessons made from it.
Debriefs are private. They are never shared and never used to mark anyone else.
The hard moments from your latest debrief come back on your next plan as From your last interview, for the same job or another. With Coach, each one opens a lesson like any other item.
